Highgate Vampire Symposium Part 5 – The Big Ghost Debate

Finally! The last session of The Highgate Vampire Symposium 2015 is now online!

The Symposium took place at the theatre Upstairs at the Gatehouse in Highgate Village in July 2015, and was the first event of its kind. Throughout the day many notable speakers contributed to this attempt to encourage greater understanding of the entity which allegedly haunts Highgate Cemetery and adjacent Swains Lane in North London.

During our final session of the day, we invited panel and audience members alike to share their questions and perspectives upon the nature of the Highgate entity. We were joined by John Fraser of The Society for Psychical Research and The Ghost Club, founder of ground breaking radio show Mind Set Central Gareth Davies (who flew all the way from Los Angeles!) and esoteric author and co-host of Keeping the Paranormal Friendly Andy Mercer.
We were also graced with the presence of two witnesses to the entity, who were brave enough to share their experiences in public before a live audience, and to them we would like to extend enormous gratitude.
We would also like to extend our thanks to the various Highgate Cemetery volunteers who contributed to the Big Ghost Debate, in person or by allowing their personal paranormal encounters to be shared by their colleagues.
And let us not forget our illustrious compere, paranormal author Paul Adams, who kept the day on track with such friendly professionalism and integrity.
We hope you all enjoy the Big Ghost Debate, and that it encourages further discussion about this elusive and sometimes frightening example of London’s rich Forteana.
